About Scott

Hello, My name is Scott and I am a Projects Director, Diving and Confined Space Supervisor and Health and Safety professional at a family-run Commercial Diving Company (Sea-Lift Diving Ltd) based in Swansea. Sea-Lift Diving carry out civil and marine engineering projects around the UK from underwater inspections, confined space rescue work and structural repairs to large scale heavy engineering dock projects including lock gate replacement and installations. It is a high risk and challenging industry but very rewarding and I am passionate about delivering quality services and promoting the best standards within the organisation. I am proud to put my profile and nomination forward for recognition not for my own personal achievements but for recognition of the hard work and determination that my organisation has shown over the last 10 years. Watching the organisation grow from 2no. Directors to having a core team of 10no staff and multiple teams of sub-contractors has been my biggest achievement and the driving force behind my professional journey and I look forward to watching and being part of the ongoing mission to become a successful and industry leading organisation.

About Sea-Lift Diving Ltd

Established in 1991, Sea-Lift Diving Ltd is a commercial diving, civil and marine engineering company with a proven track record of delivering complex and challenging projects across the UK. Originally based in Kent, the Waddell family opened an office in Swansea and the rest is history... We are continually expanding our capabilities beyond the established foundation of commercial diving services and subsea projects. Delivering expertise in structural engineering, welding and fabrication, highways infrastructure, culvert and bridge inspections, confined spave operations including rescue and marine engineering works. As the organisation is continually growing and improving the objective is to ensure a long term commitment to providing reliable and professional services.

About Scott's team

I would like to mention the hard work and dedication the team have also put into the company and a special mention to Managing Director, Bryan Waddell and Operations Director, Stuart Waddell and the late Annette Waddell (who passed in 2022) that have also been apart of the success story since the opening of the Swansea office in 2014.
