JAG Funding Solutions is a mortgage and protection brokerage set up by Jon and Gav (JAG) alongside their broker Paula. Just them to fund their own deals. This was set up for investors by investors because we know and understand what investors want, we help those from first time buyers, to seasoned investors looking to make their money work hard for them. We are a personal brokerage and you know who you are working with day in day out and we pride ourselves on great communicators.

The team - from Jon Gav Paula and myself we grew and now we have a great team working alongside us from specialists in first time buyers, commercial, Bridging, BTL, HMO and Halal/ Sharia compliant mortgages we built a team to help all possible clients. The team come together and support each other whenever needed, weather that be case requirements and criteria to personal support.

Where do i start - My back ground is health and social care supporting adults with disabilities. Far from being a mortgage broker. We moved to Wales when our son was 6 months old to start in property by renovating a house. My partner and i then continued in property whilst i worked full time and we were Lucky enough to Met Jon (The J in JAG) when i left full time employment to help mange the properties we secured, Jon approached me to become a mortgage broker as setting up his own firm. HELL NO THIS IS NOT MY BACKGROUND I HAVE NO IDEA...... Jon and Connect IFA (our network) provided me with all the training and guidance and off i set learning how to be a broker. It started slow but i began to build my client base and then i started to build the business from the ground up, i wanted to be a firm of self employed brokers but also empower other to build their own business. I spoke to people who reached out about being a self employed broker and it all went from there. We now have 9 brokers within JAG Funding who are all self employed building their names in the industry. It took alot of long days and late nights, mentoring and coaching new brokers supporting them to learn and grow as a broker. Supporting them through their struggles and understanding the way clients need support. It hasnt been easy but i absolutely love being able to help my clients weather that being long term investors growing or people just starting their journey, to understand what their needs are how how i can really help them. This does come with tears and believe me i have heard a few but when they are tears of joy and happiness you cant beat it!! - I also dont mind the gifts of cheese, balloons and flowers to sat thank you. Moments that have shaped me - when i cried personally for a client who was given a bad deal by another broker and they had secured the lending against her own residential and she was at risk of loosing everything. When you cant help everyone it hurts.
